2nd Bathroom Update

So after sitting with it awhile I decided to change up some things in our second bathroom, aka the kitty closet. LOL

Since we no longer had a toilet I saw no use for having a sink. The cats would jump up there and it was just something else I had to vacuum out every few days. It just looked out of place to me since there was no toilet and the tub was covered up. So after some research I figured out how to cap off the water lines. I removed the sink and faucet and made my own counter top for the cabinet. I couldn’t afford something really nice so I made one from what I could. Since there was a hole where the sink was I cut down a piece of wood and wedged it into the space. I put the plastic tabs that held the sink in place back up to support it. Then I used peel n stick vinyl flooring squares to cover the counter and make it an even surface. Then I cut down the flooring to match the design of the counter. Using a drimmel to make the curvy edges. Then I covered the whole thing in wood style contact paper. The corners were kinda tricky to do and I might go back and fix them up later but I love how it came out.

Then I decided to add a different backsplash. The previous one had started to peel off. And I never really liked the fact you could tell where they two pieces of contact paper came together. It didn’t look like one big piece. So I replaced it with this really light weight fake tin panel from Home Depot.

So here is a look at the evolution of the second bathroom in our rig. The third picture looks like I changed the wall color again but it’s just the light. I only painted it once.
