I often see the question asked “is full-time living possible with children?” My answer is YES it totally is! I wanted to share with you some families that are doing this full time with multiple children, some with families of up to 10 kids!
This family, also known as The Norton Family, lives full time in their 43 foot RV. They left their 8,000 sq foot home to travel the country with their 6 children. If you are curious as I’m sure you are, how they manage to sleep all these bodies in such a small area, check out their Youtube channel. Or you can also visit their blog.
The next family that I am in AWH of is called Knorpp and South. This family I found out about through my RV Interior Ideas FB group. Megan and her husband are amazing people as are their 9 children! They did a very quick renovation to their 5th wheel and hopped on the road to journey around the United States for a year. They wound up selling their 5th wheel and are now on adventures across the ocean in countries like England and Ireland. If you are interested, and I’m sure you are, in how they had their 5th wheel setup to live in with their large family check out their video’s on their Youtube channel or Blog.
If you thought full timing families couldn’t possibly get any larger then check out the Kellogg Family! Susie Kellogg, her husband and their 11 children live permanently in their RV traveling the country. Their children’s ages range from 3 months old to 19 years old. The family has their own blog called The Kellogg Show.
Follow their families traveling adventures across the country as also seen on The Today Show and Fox 31. If you want to read an article that was written about them then check out THIS post by Yahoo.
This family is The Tricknor Tribe. I learned about them through a Facebook group called Fulltime Families. They are a family of 14 people, with 8 children that are still living at home. Since I first learned about them they have sold their previous toy-hauler which they had completely remodeled to accommodate their families needs and purchased a brand new toy-hauler which, last time I checked, were updating and making changes to as well. Their blog called Our Traveling Tribe, where you can read all about their last rig and how they made it their home.
I hope this has given you some idea that living full time with kids, any lots of them to boot is totally possible! 🙂
