Me and my hubby!
Hello there! Welcome to my blog! I’m so glad your here! Let me introduce myself. My name is Christina and I’m a military wife! Army wife to be specific. I’m married to the most amazing man, Michael. We’ve been married since 2011. I have two incredible step sons, Triston and Jasper. They are from Michael’s previous relationship. Unfortunately they do not live with us full-time. We also have quite the menagerie of animals. You can check out my post on RVing and Pets to meet our crew. Our family full-times in a 5th wheel RV, which we have made modifications to as you will see in my blog posts. We have been living this lifestyle since Aug 2014. We picked this layout due to the large size of the bunkhouse. We wanted the boys to have their own space for when they came to visit for summer and holidays.
The idea for livings in an RV came to me one night out of the blue. I came home thinking about the idea of owning a tiny home on wheels. Making a more minimalist lifestyle for ourselves. Plus the idea of having a home that we could move around seemed like a really wonderful idea. I began researching tiny homes online and even came up with several layouts. After I dug a bit deeper I realized the price, available storage, and lack of easy of moving such a structure wouldn’t work for our family. Someone mentioned looking into an RV instead. It was a perfect idea! Why had I not thought of that myself?! I spent months in search of what would become our perfect home on wheels. And the rest is history. We’re very happy with our decision and haven’t looked back since.
I created this blog to share our lifestyle with others interested in doing the same thing. I also wanted to share my passions. Pets. Homesteading. Education. Beauty. Design. All things Green! I love to help others and I hope I can inspire you from our experiences.
