When I began redoing our kitchen I knew I wanted a backsplash. The popular choice seemed to be Smart Tiles. The problem with these was how much of a sheet you got for your money and the selection. I wanted something beige and that really stood out. Michael and I went to Lowes in search of something one day. While taking a look at what they had I found exactly what I was looking for! It was perfect! It wasn’t cheap though. I know I just complained about price but it was more the fact that the sheets of smart tiles are very small. So what you get for what your paying for doesn’t really match up. SO after leaving the front registers I had dropped $200 on the actual tiles and supplies. Although it was totally worth it! So below is a photo of what the tiles look like. Then below that are the photos of what products we used to install them.
This is what we used to adhere the tiles to the wall.
Here is the grout we used for the main bathroom tile.
We used this to seal the tile.
Have you thought about putting in a real backsplash in your RV? Has this blog post helped you? And just to let you know this has been up over 2 years and traveled over 3000 miles and we haven’t had any cracks.
