The first account I want to show you is ems_traveldiary. Emily works full-time as a travel nurse so she can see the world. I recently stumbled upon her beautiful RV renovation and I had to share it with you.
One particular part of her amazing renovation that I wanted to showcase was her bar. She turned the entertainment center into her own person mini bar! Check this out! Isn’t this one of the most inventive use of space you have ever seen?
I absolutely adore her style. Very what I like to call “Boho Chic”. I am in love with the color she used for her kitchen cabinets too! Like myself many people go for white all around. She in an awesome way added what is a proper “pop of color” to the space. I saved photos she posted to her Instagram account from her holiday decor which adds just an amazing bit of warmth and festive spirit to the space.
I also really like this little workstation she has created. When you have such a small space finding a way to create area’s that you need such as a work space can be challenging. The Llama photo add’s just the right touch of boho to the area along with the plant! I love plants! I have also seen that pouf many times in others rigs so it seems to be a popular choice for boho decor.
The second family / renovation I wanted to share with you is a family of 5. Megan, Brian and their 3 children are former full-time Rvers who are on their second renovation. I fell in love with their RV when I saw it mainly because of the beautiful and HUGE kitchen. I also love the country chic vibe I get from their decorating style. Let’s begin there, the kitchen.
The neutral color tones they went with looks amazing! I also really love the contrast with the darker lower cabinets to the white uppers. And that big kitchen window. My jaw dropped when I saw that!
They have created an area for the children to eat and do school work/crafts at. Like a bar style table that I believe can be folded down flat against the wall.
The rest of the rig is beautiful as you can see but what I really can’t wait to show you is the shower! They took out the standard shower that came with their rig and made one that still to this day blows my mind! The attention to detail all the way down to the floor they put the tub on just puts me in a state of aw every time I see it!
Leticia, Edward and their 2 children live in their travel trailer. Liticia runs a small jewelry shop. You can find out more on her website Enlightensimplicity.com
They have done a fabulous job on their trailer renovation. Although their changes aren’t as drastic as some other when it comes to their renovation it looks very warm and inviting. Sometimes doing less is more. I love the contrast between the white walls and darker woodwork.
I came across Kate, Matt and their two golden-doodles Junebug and Cash while scrolling through Instagram looking for camper/rv/trailer renovations. I got to speak with Kate a bit through DM and they are a fantastic couple. Not only is their Instagram account got some fabulous, breathtaking photos but they have a great decorating style as well. I instantly became a fan not only cause of their renovation but because of their doodles. Cause you know my sweet spot is for floofy furkids. Although they haven’t done as much of a drastic renovation as some others they definitely have a wonderful eye for style. They have put their own personal touch inside, making it their own. Here are some photos of their Mini Winnie Plus.
I wanted to let you in on a little secret about the bedroom decor. The valance is actually a table runner she just hung up with some push pins. No major changes made but it looks great!
When it comes to living minimally and enjoying more of life Jessie J certainly knows how to combine the two. This SoCal family has a traditional home but has renovated their home on wheels to reflect their lifestyle. I think it’s a wonderful mindset to “live life so intentionally” said Jessie!
My favorite special touch is her “nursery”. She’s got a changing table and everything! It looks so perfect for her little one.
This husband and wife duo work together. They have some lovely children. They are a handcraft woodworking + design shop. The skill they used to renovate their travel trailer for their family is unprecedented. I mean it’s just amazing. They managed to make the bunk area into a space that holds 4 bunk beds for each of their children. That’s skill right there.
Annie Sarai has an amazing eye for decorating. When I found her RV renovation my jaw literally dropped. Her look, what I like to refer to as modern boho style, is just beautiful. Especially what she did with the kids bunk room. Although her rig is now in the hands of new owners I still admire her wonderful decorating skill on her Instagram account which she gives to whatever RV or home they live in at that time.
Jen and Joe are a trailer/rv renovation team along with their dog Aiko. So far they have done one fantastic trailer renovation and are in the middle of their second work of art. What caught my eye when I was surfing Instagram for remodels was the headboard! I LOVE bohemian inspired styles in rigs and this one was no exception. All the white really makes the space feel so open and airy. It really just amazes me every time I see a renovation how people can make such a small space feel so big and bright! Make me think the RV manufacturing companies really need to take lessons from these folks.
I think this renovation Amber has done to her 5th wheel tops them all! Did you know you can have a wood burning fireplace in an RV? I know I sound crazy right? Well I promise I’m not. Check out this incredible renovation this full-time family has done to their 5th wheel. I used to think we had to get a rv layout that had a bunk house or at least bunk beds for the boys. That we had to buy it already built because if we didn’t buy one with the area how the heck would we make a place for the boys to sleep if they came to live full-time with us? Well Amber has yet again shown me you don’t need the perfect layout at the start to make it a perfect place for your family. I’m talking about the bunk beds they built for their kids in the living room slide although I think my ability to come up with that scenario much less carry it out is way beyond my capabilities. Which is why her renovation leaves me speechless!
Brittany and Daniel live full-time in their truck camper with their lab. I often think about our lifestyle and how we have minimized from living in a town-home with over 1200 sq feet to a 5th wheel with little over 400 sq feet. I think to myself, we have downsized quite a bit. Where that may be true in comparison to my friends and family still living in a sticks and bricks (what we RVer’s call people who live in houses) we definitely do not resemble that when it comes to comparing ourselves to a couple like this. I would LOVE to have a truck camper and use it to travel around the country. I don’t think we could manage something this small. And it definitely would be a challenge with 3 cats and 4 dogs. The cats might have to go stay with grandpa for a little while. lol But back to their renovation which I think looks amazing! I of course adore the country farmhouse vibe as I have that in my own rig as well. I haven’t seen too many folks who do the whole truck camper thing full-time much fewer ones who have renovated one. So it was great to find them and follow their journey.
So which renovation is YOUR favorite? Leave me a comment below. Want your renovation to be featured in my next favorite rv renovations post? Send me an email, I’d love to show it off!
