Many people who live in their RV full time are on the road therefore they have to work while traveling. In my RV Interior Ideas FB group many people have asked how to create a good work space for themselves. Here are 11 fantastic ideas for creating a office space in an RV.
I really loved this idea. It is fantastic for a class A style rig. Is easily removable and doesn’t take up any unnecessary space. Check out this link to a thread on a forum where the owner explains how he designed this work-space.
This blogger has several ways, in their class A, that they created work spaces. I really love the folding work-station in the bedroom. You can find out more about how they built their spaces from their blog, TravelingKids.com (website is currently being updated and I will update the link once it has been fixed)
Although I don’t have the creators name this was a fabulous idea illustrated by one of our members in our FB group, RV Interior Ideas. Although it wouldn’t work for us due to the fact we have a washer/dryer combo unit I really love the ingenuity of the use of space.
This was a recent post by one of our facebook group members. It is one of two people I have known that redid the bunk space in lieu of a work area.
This couple, Sarah and Bob, also known as The Web Nomads, are full timer’s in their class A rig. They came up with this little office space which I think fits perfectly for their lifestyle.
Another member of RV Interior Ideas, Kelly Pacillas, took a desk and placed it in the area her dinette used to be.
Terry Bratt from RV Interior Ideas came up with this lovely setup in his class A. Work spaces seem to be a popular idea for the class A rigs.
Gidget, of The Rolling Cottage, also took out her bunk area and made a terrific office setup. Her husband is an engineer and can build pretty much anything, and Gidget is an Interior Designer.
This talented couple, from Deglossed.com, completely removed an entire section of their rig to make a work space. You can get all the details and the blueprints off their website.
This is one of the most unique designs I have ever seen when it comes to an RV work station and definitely the best space saver idea yet! This came from a member in our RV Interior Ideas group.
Finally the last idea. This one comes from Ashley Mann, from RV Inspiration. I love how cozy the area feels and how it is placed out of the way but still easily accessible.
